PROJECT STUDY
Introduction:
Raanan Fish Feed (RFF) has knowledge in most aspects and methods of fish farming, based of over 35 years of experience:
- Hatcheries
- Extensive farming in earthen ponds
- Semi intensive farming in concrete tanks
- Super intensive farming in RAS
- Cage farming in fresh water and sea water
RFF offering the following Technical assistance and Consultancy services:
- Project Study
- Project follow up and technical assistance
- Training in practice farming
- Workshops in farming theory
- Advise for Fish farming equipment
RFF designate the challenges and farms needs and consults the fish farmers at different stage of their activity.
Project Study:
This offer is deemed to advise farmers at the beginning of their activity and to support them in the initial phase of their project providing support on the preliminary studies (environment and choices of farming adapted to it) and engineering of their farm.

Preliminary studies
RFF supports the farmers on the following studies:
- Site survey, water and land concession
- Water analysis
- Soil analysis and topography
- Fish species adapted to specific environment
- Production concept and technology to be deployed
- Farm's structure

Engineering
RFF advises the engineers on the design of the farm:
- Ponds, tanks, cages structure
- Water system and flow diagram of the farm
- Water quality management
- List of equipment required
- General site layout (road, building, gate, …)
